The same faces
Continuity is the whole service. Carers are employed and rostered to the same households, with one named backup so cover never means a stranger.
Who we are
Riverbend Home Care started in 2014 with four carers and one district nurse covering a single neighbourhood. The rota is bigger now; the way a plan gets written has not changed.
We work alongside hospital discharge teams, GP surgeries, community physiotherapists and social workers — which mostly means making sure the people who already know a case are not repeating themselves to us. Where a service already exists and works, we hand over to it rather than duplicating it.
What we will not do is put someone on a rota we would not put a relative on. That is the only reason we grow slowly.

What we hold to
Continuity is the whole service. Carers are employed and rostered to the same households, with one named backup so cover never means a stranger.
Every plan is written and reviewed by a registered nurse, not a scheduler, and shared with your GP or discharge team where it helps.
Visit notes are written up the same day and shared with whoever you nominate, so relatives who live further away are not left guessing.
One monthly plan fee, one hourly rate, quoted before you start. No joining fee, no charge for the assessment, four weeks’ notice to stop.
Simple process
Tell us what is needed, in a call or a form. No paperwork at this stage.
A nurse visits at home to assess mobility, medication and risks around the house.
We talk through the findings with you and the family, and agree what care to start with.
You get a written plan, named carers and a schedule, reviewed every three months.
Standards
Recruitment is the slow part of this business on purpose. Roughly one applicant in nine finishes induction and joins a rota.

Tell us what a good week at home looks like and we will build the care around it — the same faces, the same hours, reviewed as often as things change.
